Elk Corner is a huge site, that wraps around the most downstream corner of the river.  There are multiple spaces to set your tent right on the riverbank, or other spaces back a bit further from the edge to accommodate larger vehicles. It is very shaded with trickles of sun during the day.  It borders a large grassy area that is shared with Berry Patch.  This site seems to dry out last, so reservations for May might need to be adjusted to a different area depending on weather. Larger vehicles can also park on the grassy area on the fringe of the site.
Beach access is available directly from the site when the water is low. In the early season, when the river is still running higher, the only beach available is Big Beach, which can be reached by walking or driving.

A group of 21 or more will have an automatic charge included for an extra porta pottie to be placed at your site.
